Meeting & Dining Venues:
Regular Lodge meetings are held at 10 Duke Street, St James’s, London.
(The Chapter meets at Freemasons’ Hall, Great Queen Street).
Dinners are held at a variety of locations, but regular dining venues of recent years have included:
The Army & Navy Club, The Carlton Club, The RAF Club, and The Cavendish Hotel.
The 2009 and 2010 installation dinners have been booked at the Oxford & Cambridge Club,
whilst the other lodge dinners for 2009 have been held at The RAF Club and the Oriental Club.
After some meetings there is no dinner at all, and the brethren spend time together in The Chequers tavern,
which has for many years been a traditional meeting place for members.
These evenings in The Chequers are usually followed by some members dining together informally, and again the venue for these informal suppers has varied over the years, with locations including The Stockpot (Panton Street), Francos (Jermyn Street), and the Aberdeen Angus Steak House, as well as members’ private clubs.
There is an annual summer social meeting at Henley-on-Thames during the Royal Regatta, each July.
In August 2009 the Lodge held a summer garden party, and will repeat this event in August 2010.
The ‘Assistance Lodge of Rehearsal’ meets as advertised at Freemasons’ Hall, Great Queen Street.
